I built these Pass designed OB’s in 2014. They have been fun. Ready to find them a good home.
Includes First Watt B5 active crossover. Drivers are Lowther PM6A with Ticonal Magnet and Eminence Definimax 15″ woofer. These Ob’s play bass!

They need 2 stereo amps. Low power for Lowther.

    Asking…
    $2000.

No! Kev, you need to re state the sonic attributes of these speakers. I’ve heard them, and I’d say it like this: These OB’s PLAY BASS REAAAALLLY WELL! When you can feel the rumble of the Tympani beneath your feet, that’s some gooooood bass.

I’m familiar with the Voxativ and Tang Band full range drivers, but not the Lowther. Can you make a comparison?  Thanks!

    Jeremy,

I have heard Voxativ’s in their enclosures only.

I used the Lowther – PM6A Ticonal, silver voice coil, based on the recommendation of Nelson Pass.

The Voxativ may be a step up, but they cost more than the Lowther too.

The nice thing with these OB’s is driver swapping is not too difficult.

Would you like to hear them sometime?

    Hey Kevo,

Sure, would love to hear them.  Not sure how to set that up, or how to take this conversation offline.
