We’re so happy to let our members know that we have scheduled a visit with EveAnna Manley of Manley Laboratories. We’ll have more to come on this fun event, but in the interim here’s a great link to EveAnna’s story: https://www.manley.com/history
Join us for an afternoon with John E. Johnson who will discuss home theater and the latest applications of digital sound processing. Dr. Johnson is the editor-in-chief of the “Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity” website (https://hometheaterhifi.com/).
Please join us for an interesting afternoon with Galen Galeis to talk about what Galen believes makes Iconoclast Cables special. The following is an excerpt from the Iconoclast website (https://www.iconoclastcable.com/story/):
Engineers and audiophiles have locked horns time and again, in one long argument about the attributes of speaker and interconnect cables for high-resolution audio reproduction. Audiophile designs for wire and cable products are often strange and fanciful, and for the most part they haven’t earned a lot of respect in the engineering world.
Andrew Jones, the man who can design cost no object speakers as well as speakers that sound so good for so little money you’ll want to buy them by the dozen! Andrew has been incredibly busy in the past few years since he last visited the SFAS in person and he will have lots of new products to talk about, although this time, Mr. Jones will appear through the magic of a ZOOM presentation. But, we are convinced that this will not dampen his enthusiasm for talking about speakers and electronics.
John Curl & David Gans will return to the SFAS for this special ZOOM presentation with a discussion of all things Grateful Dead and all things related to John’s extensive electronic designs and creations.
STAY TUNED for further details!
